Pressure washing and cleaning of the walls Completed.

The WCRCA Board of Directors and Contractor and Associate Members are providing the labor and equipment to clean the memorial. We will be following up with cleaning of the pavers and sidewalks, then applying waterproofing to the walls to preserve these great walls in memory of our brave men & women who gave all for this great country.

Goals for this project:

1. Cleaning and maintenance of the Memorial to include application waterproofing coatings.

2. Increase awareness of the Special Operations Memorial and the Special Operations Memorial Foundation thru  News coverage and social media.

3. WCRCA conducts the project safely and professionally.

The Special Operations Memorial at MacDill Air Force Base in Florida honors the men and women of the United States Special Operations Command. The memorial walls include etched plaques with the names of 469 Special Operations Forces (SOF) personnel. The Special Operations Memorial Foundation honors the service and sacrifice of these men and women.
The Special Operations Memorial includes a plaque for Medal of Honor recipients inducted into the USSOCOM Hall of Honor. The memorial also includes plaques unveiled during a Veterans Day ceremony.
