WCR Exposes Itself at California REALTOR® EXPO

Yes, WCR had a booth at the REALTORâ EXPO held October 17 and 18 in San Diego!! And what a success it was. Not only did we get exposure for WCR, we also signed up 8 WCR members right on the spot, had interest in formation of two local chapters as well as many interested leads to pass on to our local chapters. In addition, we sold raffle tickets and gave away $1,000 Cash and a free WCR membership.

Lori Staehling and the San Diego Chapter spearheaded the planning and preparation of booth. Our booth volunteers were Maria Turfler, Susan Marshall, Jean Tietgen, Teri Miles, Edie Newmeyer, Carol Luckenbach, Dorte Engel, Marcos Melim, Ruth Hayles, Bobbie Nelson, Pat Frederick, Emily Link, Donna LaFreniere, Fiona Theseira, Marcie Quarisa, Terri Adams, Jan Taylor, Lori Staehling, Sharon Telles, and Noel Telles(muscle support). Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your help. You did an outstanding job of spreading the word on WCR. The response from attendees was very positive and we had fun too.

The winner of the $1,000 Cash was Peter Telles (Sharon’s son) and we also gave away one free WCR membership.

Sharon took the $1,000 Cash home and presented it to Peter and his family. They’re absolutely thrilled with the cash and thank WCR. Is this not “family support”?
